Maybe you know, maybe you don’t…but I absolutely love The Allison Inn & Spa. When Garrett and I first took a mini-vacation away there, we both turned to each other and said, “Wouldn’t it be cool if we got married here?” So after we got engaged, we joined forces with our favorite getaway to create an unforgettable experience for our guests!

From the moment you drive up, you can just tell that attention has been PAID to the details that matter in a guest experience. Warm greetings, inviting smells, beautifully appointed rooms, delicious food, and a remarkable spa. I could go on, but you get the picture — it’s a great place. If you find yourself in Oregon wine country, PLEASE visit.

As I was mapping out plans for the next styled shoot I wanted to do in 2019, The Allison was a clear choice as our location. It gave me #allthefeels to be back at the venue that I said “I do” in, helping other couples to see what their day could look like if they chose this jewel for themselves.

The great thing about working with Wainwright Images/Weddings by Wainwright is that he knows insanely beautiful people through his line of work. Working with Trista, Alex, and Eric (our fearless photographer), was an absolute dream! While we’re singing praises, let’s chat about the other vendors that selflessly devoted their time and energy to this shoot to make it happen: Jordan with Blüm Design in Flowers, BBJ Linen, Tenley with Society Rental Co (which has since closed its doors), Rachel with Everglow Handmade, Amanda + Nancy at The White Dress Portland, Amanda Senter of Amanda Senter MUA, Jess at The Black Tux, Brandon + Chanelle of Lux Sucre Desserts, and of course, Kayley + the team at The Allison Inn and Spa.

With a backdrop of Post Malone’s album “Beerbongs & Bentleys”, we got to work snapping some seriously beautiful photos, styling some seriously beautiful moments, and experiencing the beauty of The Allison!

This absolutely stunning invite suite by Everglow Handmade was one for the books. Rachel listened to my request about incorporating leather somehow into the design and absolutely nailed it!

I have to pause for a second here to draw your attention to this gorgeous cake. How adorable are Trista and Alex in this series?

How badass is that leather jacket? Fun fact: that was mine from when I played Ariel in Footloose when I was a junior in high school! After I got married, I had Brittany of Letters and Dust write on it with our wedding vows so I could wear it at a photo shoot we did. It totally fit within the theme of the shoot, so of course I brought it along.

I can’t thank everyone enough for participating in this magical day. If you’re looking to get married in Oregon wine country, look me up— I’ve got a team ready to bring your celebration to life!
